What kind of growth has Ferguson delivered in the past? Um, and y-you've touched on what's gonna underpin that growth going forward, but, but what kind of level of growth are we expecting?
4:59
Yeah.
4:59
So if you just looked at the last five years, revenue growth has been, um, 9% compound annual growth rate, so nothing to be sniffed at.
5:06
Um, when we think about future expectations, something very similar I think is very, um, likely for this business.
5:12
So the market itself, and this is probably slightly un-unusual, um, in the way you can think about this, but the market probably grows 2 to 4 percent, so it's not a rapidly growing market although, of course, it is important that it is a growing market.
5:25
But what you get with Ferguson is three or four percentage points of additional revenue growth through taking market share.
5:31
And one to three percentage points through acquisition.
7:09
Um, i- in the case of Ferguson, what is it, and this ties in, I guess, with kind of barriers to entry as well, 'cause they're, they're almost one and the same, but what, what is it that allows it to organically grow that market share as opposed to obviously the sort of smaller acquisitions that you touched on as well?
