Another one then would be the education green certs here in Chagas, so for both the Cork East and the Cork West region.

So these courses, they're QQA level five and six.

So apart from gaining all agricultural foundation knowledge and most of the practical technical skills, there's also, the green certs is also required for young farmers stamp duty relief, which is essentially a farm succession.

There's capital acceleration tax, income tax, social cooperation tax.

It's also useful for stamp duty and, of course, the Young Farmers Scheme and also for TAMS investments.

Every farmer should have a to-do list, Alan, while you're suggesting at the moment.

For listeners this- listening to what Philip has said and what your experience with your discussion group, what factors should listeners use to assess how spring calving season rearing the calves went in 2026?

Yeah, so look, it's very much farm by farm basis, Catherine.

But, um, what I like to do with my farmers, especially this time of year, is we kind of sit down and have a chat about the calf rearing process and, you know, what went well and what could be improved on.

Um, so then let's say what didn't go to plan, um, so based off their answers then on that, maybe pick two or three achievable tasks that can be done and then put in place for 2027 for when the calves come on.

So just something simple like, you know, feeding took a bit longer, so maybe get bigger feeders, have everything ready to go before the calves arrive.

Uh, maybe a revised vaccination or health plan with your vet.

Little things like that, just to get just three or four very achievable things that you think yourself that might, um, might make things easier.

From your experience working with the discussion group and what Philip is doing on his farm, going forward, where do you see the key areas for farmers to manage costs?
