So how does lived experience, whether it's related to culture or identity or immigration or marginalization, actually impact or shape the way trust is built with donors in, in communities? Like, this lived experience piece is just so central to the points you were just raising.
5:24
Yeah.
5:24
So lived experience is, is really a core part of creating the conditions for trusting relationships.
5:31
When we think about lived experience, we think about empathy, we think about authenticity, we think about effective communication and storytelling.

10:48
One of the most helpful things we did early on was adopt an AI maturity model versus just looking at tools.
10:55
We chose the Info-Tech Research Group AI maturity model, and it helps us understand where we actually are on our journey and what responsible progress should look like.
11:06
The model outlines five stages of maturity, from exploration through to transformation, and it helps us assess our progress across the domains of governance, data, people, process, and technology infrastructure.
11:20
So like many organizations, we started our journey at the exploration stage, or the foundational stage, and for us, that's where AI awareness was growing, but our capabilities were very limited.
11:31
Our governance was just emerging.
11:34
Data was somewhat siloed.
