H- Why'd you decide to do that?

Because I realized that in order to do it, I might need to collect more than just the Amex points but then also combine, combine, like, American Airlines points and different airline points, different Marriott points in order to get them all into the Emirates and the Etihad accounts that I had to create for myself to be able to then cash in those points for the, for these flights.

And n- and it's not necessarily directly, like, Amex straight into the Etihad account, right? Sometimes it's Amex to some random airline I've never been on, like Hawaiian Airlines or Alaska Airlines or something because there's some special where if you transfer it there, you get two per one or whatever it is, and then from there, it goes over to Etihad.

So it, it was not a, a, a process that I really understood or wanted to take a lot of time to dive into, but these people specialize in that.

Yeah.

I think at the time I was s- thinking about it very much, and still kinda think about it, as a game, right? Like, how do I spend on a certain card in order to maximize the number of points possible, right? Like, if I'm paying for a meal, it's always gonna be the Amex Gold.

If I'm al- if I'm paying for a flight, it's probably gonna be the Amex Platinum, and I stay within the Amex family, right, versus, say, Chase or one of these others.

That is a positive.

Absolutely.

But yeah, so being able to automate anything that you can, if that's bills, money that goes into your savings.
