How has your relationship with risks changed since you've been doing Cohesion HQ? How has risk come about and changed?
14:29
Um, so inherently I'm a risk-taker.
14:34
Um, I, I, I will...
14:36
By nature I'll take a chance, right? Some things work, some things don't work, and you never know unless you try.
14:41
Um, with Cohesion HQ, you know, I went...
14:52
Prior to Cohesion HQ, there were other brands I was trying to build, right? Mostly on personal resilience, personal story.
15:00
And when I look back, like, everybody would tell me how powerful or how inspirational I was, and I think they meant it.

21:03
How do you recognize when fear is just bringing you information and it's not a stop sign?
5:46
[laughs]
5:48
Um, so basically it's just understanding where do they lay in their strengths, and does the position requirements allow them to take their natural strengths, their natural wiring, and operate in that capacity all day long? You've got a better success of an individual who's happy at their job, thriving at their job, fulfilling the expectation of the role if they're on the right bus in the right seat.
6:17
And to your point, any time that gets derailed, and now we go to behavior modification, behavior modification only lasts so long and will definitely crumble under pressure.
6:31
Now, that doesn't mean that somebody can't work a whole career or 30 years in a behavior modification mode.
6:38
Right.
6:38
Then you'll hear things like, "Yeah, I lost myself.
6:41
I forgot what it felt like to be happy at work.
6:44
When I first started, I used to really enjoy myself.
11:18
Right.
11:19
And, you know, I think anybody who owns a gym will tell you it's a really, really hard business, right? It's a very competitive thing, things of that nature.
11:25
Some guys have done very well.
11:26
They've niched themselves very well.
11:30
You know, that the whole black belt club kind of thing in the martial arts, you know, like, you know.
11:36
I mean, you just get people to pay up front and then whether they show up is irrelevant.
11:40
Right.
15:23
So how did you wind it down and what did you get into next? Yeah.
11:02
Why not?
11:03
Okay.
11:04
So it's obviously right.
11:07
Corporate.
11:09
moves at a different pace than an athletic environment or a swap team or special operations and things of that nature.
11:16
So it just moves at a different pace because people don't, don't, take a corporate job to like want to be exposed to pressure and like high intensity and things of that nature, right? In some of these other environments, it comes with the territory.
11:32
And so you sign up for it basically, right? And so you know it's coming.

13 MINS LATER

24:24
What does that look like?
