super helpful and as we look at this list i don't know if everyone can read this this is my neatest and biggest writing i can do so um but we've got family member passing broken family separation anxiety phobias which i don't know if i expected that to be on there um even just overwhelm at a transition that was occurring and then mental health things.

There's a big range of different things.

We've got some big stuff there.

We've got some small stuff there.

And our hope, I think, is that we'll be able to kind of reflect on a bunch of those, on all of these, thinking about how we might be able to, I guess, prepare for those things as much as we possibly can.

I'm going to just take us through a little bit of a cook's tour of thinking through some of the resources that we have a bit of a biblical, theological and sociological look at suffering in the Christian life.

Inquisitive and patient.

And they were happening right in front of his face.

It's magic.

And that started a thing with him where he was really became interested in magic.

And he started studying and reading books and whatever you have to do to learn and got to be pretty good at it.

He would ask someone to choose a card from the deck.

Yeah, that he would take a thumbtack and kind of wedge that in between a couple of the cards.

So it would stay with the cards and he would throw the cards at them.

at the wall, and all the cards would splatter all over the place, except for one card.

I am a youth ministry advisor with Youthworx in Sydney, and the reason that I, I started the, the podcast that way is because we're actually doing a crossover episode with the Timeless Parenting podcast, which is hosted by Anne Cunningham and Harriet Connor.

Um, and it's run by Mothers' Union Sydney, as well as Growing Faith, which is another part of Youthworx as well.

And the reason we're doing this crossover podcast is, number one, we are very, very aligned when it comes to the things that we think about, um, the way, the ways in which we think about ministry, um, and particularly about parents and that kind of thing.

But also, we're doing this episode because there is something really, really important to talk about, and that is, we wanna think a little bit about parenting that is Christ-anchored.
