pleasure to have you with us this morning um let's take a break before the breaker let me just ask um your credentials have been questioned of course by the by the political scenes as of the moment and um it raises that yeah well you may not necessarily talk about it but that distinction or that question of who a journalist is i'm just curious

It's clear.

Just like there's no ambiguity about who is a lawyer, neither there is ambiguity about who is a doctor and some other noble profession.

There's no two ways about it as to who a journalist should be.

But it's just unfortunate that the profession has a free entry and free exit mechanism that is very, very difficult for you to ensure that the right people are the ones running that profession.

And that's the bane of what we have found ourselves.

and if you continue like this we'll begin to see more of misinformation disinformation and probably i'll begin to see fake news here and there because most of the practitioners nowadays are not really thoroughbred not trained most times we see someone who has flair for writing begin to pick one or two points together And then you have data to also play around with.
