So, um, when we're talking about, um, you know, w- w- what do we mean by kind of like ADHD? How do we define that term?

Aja MurrayGUEST
It's characterized by difficulties with attention, so for example, having difficulties with concentrating, tending to be quite distracted, um, and/or hyperactivity and impulsivity.

Aja MurrayGUEST
So hyperactivity relates to feeling quite restless, having difficulties with sitting still, and impulsivity relates to, um, for example, engaging in behaviors without really fully thinking them through.

Aja MurrayGUEST
We think that ADHD can be diagnosed in up to about eight percent of children and adolescents globally, but at the same time, these traits are in a continuum, so there's likely to be many more young people who are affected at what you might call like subclinical levels.
