Yeah

... uh, every single, every single game matters.

Obviously the debut was special and had a special, special day.

You know, just kind of, you know, first game's always gonna be special.

But at some point it's, turns into just, you know, we gotta keep winning games.

Like, were you just staying inside yourself there, or was there extra adrenaline?

Uh, I have adrenaline every single game I play.

I'm always a little nervous, but I think it's one of those things that I'm extremely nervous before the game, and then as we get closer to the game starting, it's, turns into confidence.

So that leads to me wondering, hey, what did you figure out that year? And then who are you as a hitter? Yeah, I give a lot of –

I give a lot of credit to some of my successes to that first full season of struggles because if I never went through that, it would have took me longer to figure out who I was and what I do well.

I just kind of figured out that I don't have to go and cheat to any pitch.

I feel like I can let a lot of pitches travel and use the entire field.

And that's not really what I did growing up.

I kind of like, you know, sold out, hit the ball as hard as I can.

But yeah, I just realized that I can let the fastball travel and use all parts of the field.

Do those infield skills and that infield background, if at all, help you learn the outfield any faster or provide you anything that helps you in the outfield?

If you were to scout AJ Ewing, what you bring to the table on the field and in the clubhouse, what would that look like?

Uh, a scouting report on myself? I would say, [exhales] I mean, I, if I, if I was pitching against me, I would say, like, "You know, he's a stubborn hitter.

You know, he's not gonna expand the zone much, but, you know, I gotta get on top early." But yeah, I mean, don't let him get on base.

I think he's gonna steal.

[chuckles]

but winning baseball games also matters.

Yeah, and, and winning, winning that was awesome.

You know, it, it creates a winning culture with us, like, 'cause not only as teammates, but we're all, we're all friends in the clubhouse.
