But does, does that tell us the way in which the SNP plans to take the fight forward?

Yeah, I mean, it's a, it's an interesting one.

Scotland's, Scotland's such an unusual place because the center of gravity for its politics is, is on the center left.

It perceives them to be on the center left, and we have, we have a number of indicators that say it actually is on the center left, and yet its two center left parties, uh, find it very difficult to work together because they are on opposite sides of the constitutional divide.

And so it's like, a, a bit like the narcissism of minor differences there.

And, and on the one hand, we would have thought that the recent election campaign in Scotland and also the result was starting to break down some of those barriers.

Uh, we knew that before the election, Labour supporters were actually saying they were more willing to back the SNP than Reform in a straight fight between the two of them in constituency contests.

Ailsa, how big an issue is this shift, three nationalist first ministers across the three nations or regions, in your view?
