And the sooner you get cracking on it, the better
18:22
yeah like it just depends on what the disability is if it was a physical disability like the age of the report doesn't matter that physical disability is as valid now as it was maybe 10 years ago or 5 years ago so you don't have to worry you have a copy of that report at home somewhere in the filing cabinet that makes sense Or, you know, you can get that report easy enough because it's not something that's going to change.
18:49
Things like mental health, they have to be within a certain timeframe.
18:53
ADHD, for example, is another one.
18:57
The dyslexia scores have to be within two years.
19:00
It just depends.
19:01
The significant ongoing illness, a lot of the time that is kind of within a recent timeframe.

10 MINS LATER

28:38
Okay.
13:51
transport or whatever the case may be because I
13:54
have heard of horror stories of students getting courses that they love and they're really happy in them but they're doing a two and a half hour three hour commute every day to university and back and like that's tough that's trying on the body you know yeah So that and also I suppose parents like more often than not are very open to what their child wants to do.
14:14
But on some occasions parents can push it.
14:17
They're pushing their child into a specific area, maybe precariously living their life through their child.
14:24
I don't mean that in a disrespectful way, but they know that that's a good career path.
14:28
They know that's a safe career path.
14:30
I can totally understand why parents are like that because I'm not a parent myself, but I know that from a parent's perspective, they're thinking, I want my child to be in a decent paid job.

10 MINS LATER

24:27
Can we talk about that?
17:58
So can you walk us through that appeals process and what parents need to know?
18:03
Sure.
18:03
So on Tuesday they had access to the grading component for each subject at 12:00.
18:09
So that meant that they logged into their CSSP and they could see the breakdown of results for their written paper, maybe the project or the oral or the practical subject, whatever it might have been, right? So they saw the breakdown of each subject.
18:26
And where a student is only a percent or half a percent off, that doesn't mean it's one mark and you're at the next grade.
18:33
You know, it really largely depends on how much the grading component was worth.
18:40
So, so if you have a project that's worth 50%, it largely depends on what grades you got in that practical component versus the paper.
22:49
Does their round one offer mean they're accepted through the scheme?
