It's also social media that's masking the reality, right? So Adrian, what would you say is a good starting point or a comfortable amount that graduates should expect when landing their first job?

Adrian ChooGUEST
I know I'm going to get a lot of flak for this, but I think fresh graduates shouldn't look at the dollar value itself.

Adrian ChooGUEST
Is it a good company? Is it growing? Is it in an exciting industry or an industry you're excited about? Is the role something that you can perform well, that you would enjoy doing? Is the scope wide and broad? Is it regional? The boss, do you like the boss? Do you like the team? So all these elements add so much more value to your career in the long run, rather than just the dollar value you make.

Adrian ChooGUEST
So even if the job doesn't pay as well in the first three to four years, but if you can have good grounding, great training, go for it, your career is a 40-year journey.

Hongbin ZhangHOST
definitely i mean a common phrase that we're hearing these days is that the job market is very bad at the moment so looking ahead do you think this is the new normal for fresh graduates or do you see the job market becoming a little kinder over the next year or two
