Tell, tell us about that seven months of recovering.
6:53
Yeah, so the first few months, or first three months even, like, just completely powerless almost.
6:59
Like, couldn't even roll myself over, couldn't sit up by myself.
7:02
Um, l- my physio for the first couple of months was just the guy just bashing my chest and then trying to get me cough stuff off my lungs, so trying to break up all the, the mess and the, thes- that was on my lungs.

Um, they told me I was gonna be on dialysis the rest of my life.

When, when I first came out, they said, "You're gonna have to go three days a week to the hospital to get dialysis, five hours a day." And I was like, [sighs] "Okay, that's gonna be a bit of a, a thing, but it is what it is." And then I did two sessions of dialysis, and the renal doctor came down to the ICU and said, "Mate, I wanted to come and tell you in person, but we don't know what happened, but your kidneys have come back.
7:34
So you've just done your last dialysis." So that come back, so I had some wins.
