You know, unless you're writing very introspective fiction, right? The, the, the sorts of books we write are people having to deal with things, you know, and, uh, hopefully with a bit of courage, a bit of bravery, um, which they need.

Um, uh, hopefully they try to do a bit of good in the world, and hopefully there's a, there's a, a decent outcome for some of the people.

You know, that, uh, th- th- that incident that sort of anchors the book, um, you know, I stumbled across when I was 19.
