So could you briefly describe, Adam, the structure of the R&A and sort of where sustainable agronomy, which I believe is the t- the name of your department, where that fits into the organization?

Yeah, absolutely John.

So we, um, so our department's the sustainable golf team.

Uh, when we fit, um, you know, we've been, we've been at the R&A.

Prior to, prior to that there was a sustainability department and then, um, around seven and a half years ago, um, agronomy was brought in-house at the R&A.

And so the sustainability and agronomy, um, departments merged into sustainable golf really.

And so we, um, you know, we look after, you know, uh, have a, a strong focus on helping golf clubs across the world, um, improve and develop themselves from an agronomic perspective.

Adam, Shaun mentioned the data collection there as far as the, uh, moisture content, and w- what other metrics will you collect leading up to The Open and then during The Open that will help you kind of make decisions on course setup?

I think

that's true.

I mean, I suspect if you'd had Anne Whittakin 30 years ago, 20 years ago, on the TV, you'd have found a very similar set of views.

She was robustly and unwaveringly in favour of certain things and against others.

And remarkably, in a way, that led to an appeal, which was actually beyond the traditional constituency of people who you would say were traditionalist, sort of right wing conservatives.

And, you know, and I think that the sort of sad passing of Anne.

And we remember very few conviction politicians of her life.

What about the Anne Widdicombe that you knew, Adam? Anne Widdicombe, the human being?
