So, where did we start and what was, what did, what was your career path before you got to founding and following your passion of making fly rods?

Well, I've always, um, been a fisherman my whole entire life.

My dad grew up in South Georgia, and as, when I was a little kid, we always went fishing.

And, um, we did a lot of, uh, bird hunting too on my grandmother's land, um, in Blakely, Georgia.

And, uh, so that's just kinda where I grew up, um, with the love of out- the outdoors, and that whole, um, that, that whole thing was, you know, uh, brought to me as a, as a child, um, as a kid.

And, um, I just carried it throughout my whole life.

And then, um, uh, my career, I did, um, 24 years in the Army.
