Could you talk a little bit about the sessions and what some of the components were of the sessions in your program?

Yeah, I can do that.

So first, the basic structure was that we decided on six weeks of and weekly sessions, and they were all scheduled for two hours.

And each session included some information on didactic teaching, as well as clinical teaching.

And then we also incorporated some socialization activities so that the new educators could kind of get to know each other and form some bonds with their fellow new educators at the institution.

And then we created a lesson plan that included learning objectives topics the learning activities the different learning domains and levels as well as how we were going to evaluate whether it was beneficial for them so we did topics such as interpersonal skill development organizational support evaluation and grading of clinical and didactic work, professional development, organizational structure, clinical judgment, and clinical thinking with instructional strategies, and clinical teaching processes and classroom instruction, and clinical debriefing and belonging.

And then we also did some celebrations at the end of people who attended and as well as our socialization activities throughout.

So it's not like some of the orientations where people come in for two full days and you wonder, what are they thinking about by four o'clock? So I think it's nice that you spread it over six weeks with two hours each session.
