Do you get your skimming stones given to you? There were allegations last year of stone tampering.

Yeah, big news, big talks on the island.

So the big rule... of the ESA World Stone Skimming Championships, is you have to pick your rock from the island.

And so last year, a few people were shaping their own stones, and so it was very honed in this year, you must pick them from the island.

So I went down very early, picked my three stones,

You must have a distance.

Did we get a distance? As we said, 32.

I think we threw 32.

The thing about, what are you looking for in the contest? Are you looking for skips or distance?

Oh, yeah, so they're two very different sports I've learned.

So skipping is the amount of skips, and skimming we go for distance.

So the pool's 63 metres, the old quarry in Eastdale.

So I'm aiming to hit the back wall this year.

No female has done it, so that's my goal.

And the weather as you go to the north of, I mean, you're right up the top there.

Well, yeah, they've just had that big heat wave over here in the UK, but the last week they've opened the heavens and it's been pouring down with rain.

Can you talk about what that's like? I mean, what do you feel like when you first get that information? Because it sounds like you were having a great day up until then.

I was having an amazing day.

And then it was like my whole world came crashing down.

And stayed down for months.

Because it took a long time to figure this out legally.

To get the products tested.

To get the results back from that.

Are you still lifting weights? Do you still have dreams of competing in the Olympics? What's next?

Why do you think some believers doubt their ability to hear God's voice? And have you ever experienced this doubt in your own life? And if so, how did you move past it?

Absolutely.

I think that there's a number of different reasons why we can doubt our ability to hear God.

I think that especially in the beginning of our faith, we just have so many questions and it's natural for us to just go to somebody else with those questions because we don't necessarily trust our ability to answer them for ourselves or to go to God with our questions and to hear from Him.

And I think that's natural and that's normal, but God wants our faith to grow.

He wants it to mature and develop.

And so...

Can you talk about that a little bit further? How do you know the difference between a closed door and a distraction?
