So where is the church missing it? Thinking that they're doing great, but not.

Yeah.

Yeah, so two things come to mind.

One, I don't think they understand the scope of disability.

And then two, I think they think that they're doing a good thing by saying we're not equipped, which I think is like the most hurtful thing to say.

Like, what do you mean you're not equipped to love my child? what do you mean you're not equipped to make sure this is a safe space for my child? That's not, we want to make sure everyone's loved and everyone's safe.

And so, and because they don't want to do the work, because they don't want things to look a little bit messy, they rather just say we're not equipped.
