I know there's always an exception to the rule.

But I just feel like every TTRPG... lends itself super well to horror.

And I think that there's also an element that I was thinking about this earlier today of like when I was at summer camp, the best thing in the world was everybody exchanging scary stories and you're all trying to one up each other and you're all trying to freak each other out and you're all trying to like retell some kind of local horror, but in a new way that's going to mess with everybody.

And I feel like part of at least the way we play, I guess, TTRPGs, it's that same thing of like, I want to one up everybody and freak everybody out and all of us are constantly trying to like you know do a spook in a fun cool new way and so I feel like it ends up twisting into that like how do I freak everybody out but in a fun way

And I was like, no there's like there's a couple of like things but i'll kind of tap you before they happen and i swear to god not 30 seconds later she breathed a sigh of relief and then it's the scene when simon pegg walks into his room and like the weird guy is in there and it's like the biggest jump scare of the movie i swear to god abby jumps two feet off the couch screamed and ran out of the room It was because I'd accidentally lulled her into an absolute sense of ease and comfort next to someone she trusted and loved, who accidentally set her up for an absolute failure.

Wait, Geraldine, is everyone okay with it or just the three of them okay with it?

Oh, I guess, I think it's just the three of them.

I don't know if other people know, but, but she just, the, the lady seemed so okay or, or, like, protective almost of Penny.

She doesn't like the sound of kids crying for any reason, but this seems pretty severe.

Her talent is foraging, which I want to just add the flavor for foraging of saying that it also gives her an ability to sort of like tell where this is coming from, that is coming from, is the ground been trampled, whatever, you know, looking at the mushrooms, what do the mushrooms say?
