What a combo.

One of my roommates had been getting bullied at work by another coworker who we will call Devin.

Devin was pretty much mean to everyone, but had gone out of his way to spread rumors about my friend, make her look incompetent in front of managers and generally be a dick to her for no reason at all.

He was pretty popular.

Yeah, he was pretty popular with our other coworkers and had successfully gaslit most of the team into thinking my friend was the problem.

One night, we got done with work and invited people back to our house to hang out.

Devin came along.

Oh, gosh.
