factorAnd in the early days, those phishing attacks were aimed at something called a private key, essentially crypto's equivalent of a bank password.

If you get that, you can immediately access the funds.

Imagine you have, like, a Chase account.

If I have your username and password, I could, like, log in and, like, send the money elsewhere.

So that is the kind of crimes they would start with.

I wouldn't call it hacking.

It's more like scamming people [laughs] into, like, yeah, giving them their credentials.
