I think if they were hitting it off straight away, I don't think it would've worked nearly as well.

You need that bit of tension to begin with for it then to work.

But yeah, I, I do find it funny, again, having seen the behind-the-scenes stuff, is that Whitney Able was not originally, at least I think I'm remembering this right, Whitney Able was not originally like a thought.

I think Gareth Edwards had seen Scoot McNairy in something, really wanted him.

He said yes, and he was like, "Oh, by the way, my girlfriend's an actor too." And it just happened to, to, [laughs] to, to work out in the end.

And I'm, I'm glad they, they stuck with it for this one, because I think it works.
