So what should, what would you tell a parent? What should they look for to tell whether coach is really developing players or mostly trying to win on the weekend?

Yeah.

I mean, I think, I think that's where, so one thing, obviously I learned the very hard way through my own process was again, I got wrapped up in baseball was my identity.

And I, at the end of the day, when I gave up, you know, threw on home on, or I ended up striking out the side for a big save or whatever that was like, I use that to define who I was.

And unfortunately when the game got stripped away from me, the hard way, like the very hard way, I didn't know who I was.

So I, I feel like the perspective that I gained through that process allowed me to understand what actually matters.

And for me, I learned that the only thing that matters is you becoming the best version of yourself every day, like that 1% better mindset every single day.

Well, assuming there is a season, what ha- what has you, like, the most excited thinking about this season and the next?

what was it like when you got back there?

Unlike anything I could ever imagine, just, You know, that whole process really like very humbling.

I mean, I felt like I had a pretty decent faith, a foundation in my faith.

And it broke me, to be honest with you.

And so I wanted nothing to do with God.

I shut him out of my life.

I questioned everything, questioned why.

I think that you're going to be really good at this job and I'm very, very excited for you.
