What got a surgeon interested in the intersection between surgery and geriatrics? What motivated you to start thinking about this?

So there's always, you know, family history.

And I think from, you know, doing surgery, we're basically trained as a problem-focused specialty, you know, identify the problem, fix the problem, move on.
