Who were you as the CEO talking to for input and perspective for your decision-making process and the leadership of this decision-making process?

Yeah, so one of the things about my situation is I had been-- First of all, I'd been in the mission for 25 years before this.

So, you know, in a lot of ways, I'm familiar with the landscape.

I understand what the challenges are, what the good, you know, what, what's working, what isn't working.

I had also stepped into the role of COO about five or six years before I stepped into the CEO role, so there were things that were coming to my attention that I was completely aware of.

In fact, some of them had been under my watch, that had been problems that we knew were, um, challenges that we needed to address.

This had been one of those kinds of challenges, and so we really had to kinda dig underneath and tackle it at some point.

How has that borne out, um, in your first two years leading Jews for Jesus?

So, yeah.

Yeah, yeah.

There's certain neighborhoods here where you're going to see that everywhere.

And so I was kind of exploring.

I wouldn't call myself like an ultra-Orthodox Jew, but I was definitely exploring my Jewishness, and I would have called myself Orthodox.

There's different degrees of Orthodoxy, right? Kind of like...

A lot of faiths have that.

So I'd love for you to tell that story.
