Cigarette paper, yeah.

So she basically was just like, all right, I'm just going to do what this voice is telling me to do.

And she started writing.

And then automatic writing started happening.

And she, over seven years, wrote the whole course.

It's basically a psychosomatic text that's couched in Christian language.

It's really ingenious if you try to break down why this entity, whoever it was, delivered this text in this way.

So what would you say the main principles or teachings are from A Course in Miracles?

I would love to know.

Yeah, so I do right now three different courses.

I have my masterclass, which is kind of an evergreen eight-week masterclass on really understanding the mind, how to begin mastering the mind and gaining greater awareness of who you are and how to integrate real mindfulness.

And so that is an eight-week course, which once you join that, it's a lifetime membership.

So many people just take the course every six months or something to stay fresh.

And you get so much more each time you pass through.

But we do a Q&A every Saturday at 10 a.m. Mountain Time, where people bring all their questions from whatever content they're working on or however the content integrates their life.

Right.

And what is the biggest misunderstanding, uh, we have about Jesus' teachings, uh, you would say, uh, from maybe a Christian, uh, perspective?

perspective?Yeah, gosh, it's so...

It's hard to even know where to start sometimes.

Um, when it comes to Jesus' teachings, let's start there.

The first, um, the first conflict I discovered was just in reading the Bible itself, without even studying history or scholarship outside the Bible, was, um...

I, I had this, I started to have this big issue with Paul, because I got hired at this church at 23 to be a full-time worship pastor after I graduated from ORU with a bachelor's in theology and music, and started my full-time pastoral career like I wanted to do, right? Third generation pastor's son, I'm continuing the family ministry, and then I get smacked in the face with all of this cognitive dissonance that was really rubbing me the wrong way, because I was working at this church that was very fundamentalist and legalistic, and I wasn't comfortable there.

And it was this story I've told many times where a woman...

That's the question that is being arised in the video, and I was starting to think about is this connected to the ego, the negative chatter in our minds when that negative chatter becomes really intense? Is that because it's actually influenced by some dark force? Uh, so I'd love to hear your perspective on that because you did say that, from what I understood, there's no Satan, but still are there negative entities?

Yeah.

Yeah, water's cymatic.

You guys have shown this to the point where now, like if I'm thinking a negative thought, I'll often think of water and, and crystallography and say, "Oh, I don't wanna hold that detrimental thought and what cymatic pattern that's making in the water in my body." Once you know that your body's made of water and your thoughts definitely influence water, then it becomes, um, there's an onus on you to be more responsible with your thoughts.

And so I think that's really important.

But I wanna go back quickly to the conversation about the role of baptism in salvation.

Now this is another distortion of modern-day Christianity on the earliest tradition, is that this whole idea of grace versus the law, and, and Paul kind of popularized this view which modern Christianity has adopted, where Paul said, "Jesus abolished the law.

He did away with it.

God's law.

Back to the water, you must be born of water and spirit.

If we take, you know, an example of Jesus saying this to mean that being born of water means you must develop the properties and the abilities of what water is within yourself type of thing.

You must be able to reflect.

You must be able to embody love.

That's another big aspect of water is that water typically represents the feminine polarity and love.

And the Essenes in the seven, sorry, the 14 angels, there's seven angels of the heavenly father, seven of the earthly mother, as I said, and they all match onto each other.

But, like, just briefly explain Law of One from your perspective.

So the Law of One is a channeled text from the 1980s from a group of extraterrestrial researchers who were kind of passionate about this topic back in the mid-'70s, and they had set up a group of 12 channelers.

Uh, what they were trying to do was understand the nature of this phenomenon of UFOs and ETs because it was apparently really big.

There was a lot of activity back then at, at that time, and they were trying to figure out: Who are these beings? Why are they here? How do we communicate with them? And they had the clever idea of realizing that if we wanna really know or understand these beings, we should probably be more interested in their spirituality and their philosophy than just their technology.

And so they thought, "Maybe we can communicate mind to mind with these advanced beings." So they started this channeling group, and they tried to make contact for, um, I wanna say it was about 10 years that they were doing this on, off and on.

And it wasn't until one of the guys in the group...

Their, their first big mistake was it was all guys, no women, and we all know women just make better channelers than men.

Mm.

Babylonia.

And so the Essenes said, "Look, this animal sacrifice stuff is not something God ever commanded us.

We reject this.

This is an abomination.

This is, this is black magic happening," right? God doesn't need blood ritual sacrifices to forgive sins.

God wants you to repent, uh, which is what the whole Hebrew Bible predicates is, uh, how we, how we reach atonement and justification before God is we humbly repent for our sins, and our loving Heavenly Father forgives us.

And this is the exact same message we see Jesus preaching and John the Baptist preaching.

God's law.

... channels in separate cultures all having the same exact concept of the wanderer and the volunteer coming through.

I can actually hit you with one more example too, which is from the Bible.

Um, even the, the idea of a Messiah is a bit like a, a wanderer type of concept, right? In that the way that they would see, the, the Jewish people would see a Messiah is, like, sometimes they believed it was a prophet who's already, you know, graduated, so to speak, and is coming back to the planet again to help out, uh, an enlightened being, a holy being, a sage, a prophet.

And this is why Jesus asks his disciples, "Who do people say that I am?" And Peter says, "Some people say that you're Elijah.

Other people say you're Jeremiah.

Other people say you're Moses or one of the other prophets." So there's kind of an idea there of wandering, right? You're this advanced being.

You're an advanced being that's come back to help us out.

It's the teach-learn-

Takes a lot of courage to follow your truth, and I know a lot of your work speaks to these lost teachings of Jesus, and I would love to see here kind of a distilled version, maybe the top three of the biggest distortions you see that people are believing today.

Number one, for sure, is the whole idea of blood atonement, that Jesus was the, the blood sacrifice, the penalty for your sins.

You know, he paid it with his death.

So first of all, this is taught nowhere in the mouth of Jesus in any way, shape, or form.

And that should be very problematic if you're a Christian, right? But most Christians will say, "No, that's not true.

There's that one verse in Matthew where it's the Last Supper, right?" Jesus says, "This is my body, broken for you for the forgiveness of sins.

This is my blood, shed for you." And the problem with that passage, it's one of the most disputed passages in the canonical Gospels because Matthew is borrowing from Mark.

Can you just explain for us how 4D consciousness, um, connects to the chakra system so we do the full round of it?

What does this look like? Yeah.

Yeah.

So the, the main, like, teaching modality I want the reader to come away from this book with is an understanding of, number one, your emotional guidance system, what that is, the fact that your emotions actually point you right to the truths that you need to see in that moment to be free from ego attachment, and those emotions specifically are the negative ones, actually.

And so I boil those down to three...

I believe we only have three negative emotions, fundamentally: sadness, anger, and fear.

And there's many flavors of each one of those emotions, many types of sadness, there's many types of anger, and there's many types of fear or variations of them.

But those are the three main bucket emotions, right? You can boil everything down to one of those three.

How do we know what the difference is?

I wonder too if things like social media feed that beast, w- especially you being in, you know, working with Google in Silicon Valley, if you really saw it in hyperdrive.

Oh, yeah.

You better believe it, man.

[laughs] We're, we're in that era right now for sure, but, um, I was laughing at what Eckhart was saying about our ego 'cause I was recognizing, yeah, that's totally what my ego says to me too.

Like, I guess we all have the same voice in our head, you know? And that's when it struck me where sometimes laughing can be a really powerful way to realize truth.

And so I just kind of laughed myself into this kind of, um, Buddha state of consciousness where I realized, yeah, the voice in the head is not real.

All that is real is reality itself, and reality is good.
