If you look around the country, especially if you look at jobs in the sector, it's very difficult for HR departments to benchmark assistive technologists.

As a rule, they, they, they find it difficult.

There are some government guidelines now, but you find huge variations, uh, in, in that benchmarking process.

That's one very clear kind of problem we've got.

Who are these guys? What do they know? How do you know if you've got one that knows things? And how do you know that you're...

you know, e- especially if you're recruiting when, when you don't yourself know much about assistive technology.

Those kind of things that, um, sometimes gets lost with individuals, and what we want is to create that, that shared knowledge, that shared community that lives on.
