How Activists Are Subtly Targeting the Church

So diving then into this issue of the climate change aspect, what's going on and what were you researching? What do we need to know?

Yes.

So what I wrote about in the book was how very large secular left foundations, we're talking about organizations like the Clinton Foundation, like the Gates Foundation, Tides.

People won't know the Tides Foundation, but it is one of the largest foundations in the world, very secular, very left.

And they all happen to have an interest in population control.

So you will see them do things like fund Planned Parenthood and abortion initiatives and things like that.

And for that reason, they also happen to have a pretty strong interest in promoting climate change alarmism.

And so what I wrote about was how these secular left

groups and their many millions of dollars came together and they created with some high profile evangelical leaders, various front groups.

One, for example, is the Evangelical Environmental Network.

So it was literally created in partnership with these left wing secular foundations.

They funded it and they got what they called evangelical mascots.

In their own literature, in what's known as their board books, where they break down and analyze how effective their funding has been, they actually wrote about what they call the rent and evangelical model.

They said, basically, what we want to do is take a high-profile evangelical leader, get them to start to espouse climate change alarmism and panic, and we want that to trickle down into the pews.

They used that term.

It will then trickle down into the pews.

Suddenly, there was a very big push within the church for creation care.

Because I think at that point, a lot of evangelicals would have gone, when they hear the word climate change, so they had to give it a new name, creation care.

And we want to care for creation.

We want to care for the earth, be good stewards of the earth.

But that is something very different than saying, actually, we're just one of many species on the earth.

And that is a very different kind of ideology.

And so that's what I was covering.

Yeah, I was going to ask you if you had heard of the term creation care and if that was something you came across in your research, because I do think it is a euphemism that is being used to indoctrinate the church and to talk about this climate narrative and an alarmism.

And when we say alarmism, we're talking about how there's a fear that man is destroying the earth and it's It's counter to the idea that scripture says that we are to care for God's creation, for his glory, and we'd have dominion over it.
