It was then that as God was, not only I realized that this is sin, my sexuality, that is not who I am.
I then was like, then who am I? I went back to scripture and I realized that it is not my sexuality.
My sexuality, my sexual sinful desires, the temptations, those are things that my experience, but no experience is who I am.
Then I realized, okay, then what is God calling me to? is he calling me then to be a heterosexual because that that kind of seemed logical homosexuality is wrong so therefore like aka you know i mean that's like the logic right homosexuality is wrong so therefore for heterosexuality is right but i went back to scripture and it was i mean i had tons of time on my hand so i i went back to scripture and i was reading man the bible condemns homosexual sin but it actually condemns a lot of heterosexual sin adultery fornication and lust right so i'm thinking heterosexuality is too broad and being someone who has lived in the world i was thinking this is freud freud is crazy like why i even actually knew that as a unbeliever why are we holding on to a framework that freud thought was good god does not want to separate us categorize us according to our sexual temptations or sexual desires And I kept reading and reading and reading.
I was like, what is it that God is calling us to regarding specifically sexuality? And it was actually very, very clear.
If you happen to be married and there's only one definition of marriage that's grounded in Genesis.
Jesus, when he was asked about divorce in Matthew 19 and Mark chapter 10, he goes back to where? Genesis 1 and Genesis 2.
