On Thursday, Anthropic shipped Claude Dashboards in beta: connect your data warehouse or an app like Salesforce, ask a question in plain English, and get a dashboard where every number shows the query…
You connect a data source, either your data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks, or an app you have already connected to Claude, and Anthropic's own example is Salesforce.
Claude writes a query for each chart, runs it against your data, and builds the page.
That matters because the most dangerous number in any company is the one nobody can explain and everybody repeats.
On enterprise, it is switched off by default until an owner turns it on in the organization settings under Artifacts, and it can be limited to specific groups.
The same day, Anthropic took its documents, slides, and design tools out of beta and put an animation tool called Motion into beta on the team and enterprise plans.
It turns a page of numbers into a short animated explainer, which is a very polite way of saying your all-hands meeting just got thirty seconds of something people will actually watch.
Before I go further, a disclosure, and it matters for what comes next, my own company runs largely on Claude, so weigh my enthusiasm with that in mind.
I am not a neutral party here, and you should know that before I say the provocative part.
