This week we’re asking a BIG question: are our standards actually too high… or have we just got far too used to praising the bare minimum? But first, WE CHARTED AT NUMBER 21 IN THE GLOBAL PODCAST…
praised because also like, we got a lot of positive comments like so many people saying oh girl's girl which is so nice and and that all it was it was all it was at its core yeah me trying to just like spread some awareness of like the good guys that are out there and making wanting to make a girl feel good about herself because I'm sure she gets loads of messages of like people creating um like maybe even fake news just to because that's how society is these days so I just thought you know what it just feels like the right thing to do but I also think that we're in a society and a landscape at the minute where there are so many men that cheat and that don't, you know, treat their girlfriends correctly.
And
women.
And women, of course.
But I feel like when is it ever a bad thing? to give someone praise for something.
It was never we're giving, I'm giving him praise.
For the bare minimum.
For the bare minimum.
It was just like you'd praise anyone for something, some good behavior.
It was just like shedding some light onto a situation and a story.
And I think because of the manosphere and all of that, there are so many like bad behaved men that I think that if we praise men a little bit more, then we're showing that it's positively reinforced.
loves dogs like exactly I think that we just need to be a bit more positive because I think I've spoken about this recently I do really think there's a divide between men and women at the minute where it's like men versus women where it's like why can't we just praise each other and praise between the sexes and when a guy does a good thing so like let's just talk about it because they're not all cheaters and whatever so how is it ever a bad thing to praise if it's perceived as bare minimum who cares like I'm just being positive and someone commented actually because someone had said a similar vein to that you know why are we praising the bare minimum and someone had said like you could put some people in front of a brick wall and they'd find a negative
in something yeah
I actually wrote down the exact thing um there are some people that can argue with a wall and can never see anything for the good that it is and literally that is so true
that's that's trolls though isn't it I guess yeah like people just being negative well it's like another video that went viral last week my sister lives in Australia she's been there for eight years and the last time I saw her was January and when I said goodbye to her in January I thought I wouldn't see her for two years and she's just had a little baby so obviously my niece so that was horrendous saying goodbye in Jan because I really did think I wasn't going to see them for two years and then last Saturday I was having a dinner sorry lunch at my mum's with my brother and his kids and my nephews my dad and James and then my dad said oh my friend his friend Andy he was like oh Andy's broken down his car's broken down in Wythenshawe so I'm gonna have to go and get him we're like oh god what a night there blah blah he goes all there whatever about half an hour later
my sister walks in
and I was like I can't even get the words out now.
Literally, I have never been so surprised in my life.
Actually, bar one time when James surprised me and I beat him for my 30th.
That was really shocking as well.
My whole body was shaking.
My quad was like vibrating.
My hands were vibrating because I was in so much shock.
Obviously, it was amazing.
