and so we have two unbelievable co-chairs who are Gennaro Pecchia.

You know, Gennaro is like a food guru in the industry.

Food whisperer, we call him.

Yes, he is.

He's like, you know, like the guy to know in the business.

And Eric Vitale, who is actually Monica Vermeulen's son.

Eric is a talented celebrity photographer in New York City.

And shoots a lot of chefs.

And shoots with a lot of, you know, celebrity chefs.

So there's a great combination.

And Eric and Gennaro just happen to be really great friends.

So all of these things kind of came together.

So we have unbelievable folks who also put a lot of their time and resource.

And it's grown tremendously.

Substantially, last year we had over 40 chefs.

I think the first year we started with like 13.

More and more chefs hear about it from their friends and they want to be involved because of the cause.

Who wouldn't want to be? We are

here tonight for this fabulous Chefs Who Care event in beautiful, beautiful Spring Lake, New Jersey.

This year we have 20 amazing chefs, all from New York City, Westchester, Long Island, New Jersey, and we also have 10 beverage partners, all coming in, supplying us with amazing food and beverages, all in support of the Ashley Lauren Foundation.
