Um, and are you in your usual writing space?

Well, I wrote Radical Attention in my shed when I lived in a, before I, before I moved into this house, and I wrote Between the Lines in my office in Bloomsbury, which is in Gordon Square, which is a very nice office looking out over the park.

Um, and I recently had to move from that office, and I wrote a very sad office essay about it, um, because they're refurbishing the building, so they've put me in some outpost somewhere.

Um, and like everybody in, after the pandemic, I sort of do a mixture of working from home and working in the office, but I really like working out of the house when I'm doing some writing.

You can take your laptop or your notebook and go and sit in a cafe, and you can kind of write anywhere.

So Hymn, on my memoir in verse, I wrote a lot of that actually in the writing center in Wales, um, where I went and did some courses myself as a student.

I think there can be particular places that are more creative maybe or more inspiring than others.
