We do have some numbers to dive into, and this was from a few weeks ago, and this was during the time where "Beyond the Gates" was still going through some preemptions for the week of May 4th through the 8th, and the numbers were for "General Hospital" and "Beyond the Gates." So in women 18 to 49, GH rebounded to a 0.19.
"Beyond the Gates" for three days aired that week, they drew a 0.17, so still a very close race there.
In women 25 to 54, the numbers were GH for the first time in a good while was on top of "Beyond the Gates" with a 0.26 versus BTG's 0.24.
But in household share, GH increased from a 1.2 to a 1.3, and for the first time in quite some time, BTG dropped from a 1.1 to a 1.0 in the household share.
That means that less televisions were watching "Beyond the Gates" during that hour for that week due to those preemptions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Then in total viewers, we have "General Hospital" back above two million viewers with 2,001,000 viewers tuning in, and then "Beyond the Gates" was down to 1,627,000 viewers, down from 1,655,000 viewers from the week before.
But Jasmine, your thoughts on GH rebounding and BTG, despite the preemptions, holding steady for the most part.
Even though, even though, uh, BTG wasn't on top, I'll still take the-- I'll still take it because, as you said, they did, you know, do fairly well considering the fact that they had the preemptions to contend with.
So as I've always said, you know, GH is at a greater advantage because they don't have those constant preemptions that, um, that BTG does.
Don't, don't necessarily like that their, um, that their viewership totals dropped, but hopefully with Winter-- I mean, if I say Winterfest, [chuckles] hopefully with, um, with the cotillion, they're able to, you know, pick it back up, that they're able to get it, you know, get it back on track.
They, you know, be, uh, GH was on top of them, but I, I will still take it because they were close, and I would rather they be close than, than super far off like, you know, like how sometimes they are kind of far away from the GH.
Don't make this like a race that is a big distance between the two shows because that was the case for a few months.
