All righty, we're back on WPTF with Weekend Gardener.

We are at 2828 Industrial Drive in Raleigh at Bell's Carpets, just behind Costco on Industrial Drive.

And we're right here at Six Forks.

You know where Costco is, Wake Forest, Six Forks.

So we're behind that large building here.

And Bell's Carpets has been in this area industrial warehouse complex for generations, I would say.

So the original Bell's was in Cameron Village, the village district.

They sold carpets, and they also had linens and towels and things, too, I think.

Yeah, I remember that.

All in one store.

That was when I was a kid.

Early 70s.

Yeah, in the 60s.

Early 60s.

They were, by 1960 or so, about the time that an aluminum company...

Bell's was developed sometime.

Two entrepreneurs did the store.

So they still exist or are still thriving.
