Contemplative Practice
Go ahead and get comfortable.
Take some breaths.
Breathe out all the stresses, all the racing thoughts, all the buzzy and buzzing busyness.
so that you can find a stillness, so that you can just be here, so that your senses can wake up.
As you settle into a contemplative or meditative state, allow your eyes to close or your gaze merely to soften, your body to relax, yet still upright and open, ready to receive.
Lean into the reality that there is nowhere else to be, nothing else to do, no one else with whom to be.
The perfect presence is right here already.
There's nothing to fix, which isn't to say that everything is as you would have it be in the world or in your life.
More that there's nothing wrong, nothing's broken.
Maybe another way of saying it is things being broken is part of the natural reality of things.
They break, they come apart, they come back together.
Sometimes in new ways, they break apart again, they come back together again.
And just let it be wherever and whatever it is.
as you let go of all the energy that we build up trying to make this moment something else.
Again, feel and find this perfect presence that is a total acceptance of you, who you are right now, wherever you are on your journey in your becoming.
And we're all on our journeys in becoming.
There's no further requirement to this all-powerful love reaching you.
It already is embracing you, joining fully into your present reality with you.
Accept this acceptance and don't ask questions of it.
Let any thoughts of judgment just wash away like the sand in the face of an incoming wave.
Be shaped by it.
reshaped by it, healed by it.
Hear the I love you that greets you and offer an I love you in return.
Imagine these coming to you, also like waves, one after the other, one you receive and the next you offer.
And then you receive again.
