**"You can sing the gospel and still not live it."** That's the line that stopped Justin Roethlingshoefer cold when **Brandon Lake** and **Phil Wickham** told him they'd surrendered everything to…

They're releasing and writing songs and doing the stuff.

More are like me, right? I'm on staff at a church, four kids, and and married and trying to have a healthy marriage and be a good dad and be a healthy worship leader and lead a healthy team and make sure it's good on the weekends.
I'm hosting a podcast.
I'm doing these other things with coaching other churches.
And what are some principles that you would maybe say you talked with those guys about or the guys on the tour that would filter down to somebody like me who's just going through the motions every day trying to live this worship leader life?
So I think a lot of times where it all stems back to number one is our identity.
And the reason that we talk about identity first is because the habits and behaviors in which you operate within ultimately is your identity made visible.
And so when we identify with a worship leader, we see what other worship leaders have done.
I have to keep pushing and going and I can sing of the gospel, but I actually don't live of the gospel.
