The first decision and the first question we have to answer is what does winning look like? This is the foundation, right? Like you might say it like it's vision, the big picture.

So we're not gonna just look at the CCLI top 100 and say, let's do these top four songs because this is what people are doing.


If winning looks like we wanna be like every other church, then by all means do that.

But I don't think if you're here today and you're listening, I don't think that's you.

So we have to look at the songs we choose as pastoring our people and fitting in with the vision of the church.

We can't just pick our own personal preferences or let every person that's on the worship team have a say in what songs we're going to do unless they're very clear on the vision.


And we're trying to cultivate this environment, right? That's the big picture church, make disciples.
