This answers things like who we are, why do we exist, and, and what does it mean to be on this team? And I think you could keep it simple with things like vision, values, expectations.

And expectations can be things like what time do we arrive at church? Where do we park? You know, things that, that we take...

Maybe people that have been on the team, they forgot that you even told them this.

But when it comes to somebody new coming on the team and you wanna get a new volunteer involved, you wanna do everything you can to help them understand.

And if nothing else, writing these things out is helpful for your team, but it also is helpful to you because you can get out on paper what's in your mind and what's needed.

You don't have to say, "This is how you practice," but you can make some ges- some suggestions.


Like on the Worship Online team, we use Slack, and so there's different conversations about different team, m- different things, and maybe you could do the same.

Some people might think, "Oh, I can wear shorts and flip-flops." And maybe that's, that's okay at your church.

But maybe it's not, but you don't communicate it, and so you never, you've never really thought about it.

Maybe they were at a beach church, right? There's a church near us, I think, called The Boat- Boathouse Church, and they meet on boats, right? What are the spiritual expectations? This is probably the most important because it sets the foundation for your team, right? The spiritual expectations.

This answers things like who we are, why do we exist, and, and what does it mean to be on this team? And I think you could keep it simple with things like vision, values, expectations.
