Why is it important? Why are we authors, writers of nonfiction or fiction? It doesn't really matter.
Why are we advised to have a newsletter and have a newsletter list of subscribers?
Well, so my take on that is that your newsletter is the one thing that you can control.
You can control your newsletter and your mailing list that is generated by the newsletter.
That's the one thing that you can do from the standpoint of marketing that doesn't depend on other people.
And it also doesn't cost you necessarily a lot of money every time a newsletter goes out.
I think also I'd add on to that that you get the opportunity to build relationship, a deeper relationship with some people.
