Today's episode is all about the capability shift and what safety professionals need next.

based on, as I said, the information and the bits of, I guess, conversations and snippets that I see come across.

So over the last six months, I've really been reviewing not only the Hunter Safety Awards submissions, I've been hosting podcasts where we talk about inshpo frameworks, for example.

Speaking with safety professionals in our member mingles and mentoring women in safety, but also looking at broader workforce trends.

There's one thing that's continually showed up and that's around the capability gap in health and safety really isn't technical anymore.

But I think for the most part, we know technically how to complete a health and safety investigation or an incident investigation.

The question now has to turn to, and in my opinion has turned to, in some pockets, can you truly create influence in your role? Can you lead? And that's not about necessarily leading a team.
