In this episode of Wolf Precision's Long Range Shooting and Custom Rifle Building Podcast, Jamie takes a hard look at what seems to be becoming the new standard across the shooting and firearms…
So the first thing I'm really excited about, we've been working hard on this, is we redid all of our pages to have to do with all of our online training.
So Not to give any pumping up or any excitement to the fact that George came here with no training whatsoever and ran the whole way out to 1,000 yards.
So I don't want to downplay the value of training, especially when it comes to fundamentals of marksmanship.
and i was like yeah he's in the online class and it played out so at a thousand yards his first round was a centered shot on the target that is fundamentals now of course we had his dope right and we made some good win calls but the rest is up to the shooter right now and of course there's always luck involved but we have had several students come through this year with no experience and absolutely no in-person training and come here and just clean the course up like a mopping bucket.
Knowing what you need to do, knowing what is correct and incorrect, knowing what causes people problems, Well, then the rest is just practice.
And George was a great example of that, of the gentleman that got in the shooting, loved it, really never had a chance in his busy career to practice it or get that much deep into it, wanted to learn to shoot great, and took the class.
Listen, I can put 100 people, regardless of what pro shooter they are, where they're at, at 100 yards and say, look, I want you to just shoot one or two sighters and shoot a group.
Well, yeah, it's really impressive that the rifle can do that, but it's actually just as more impressive that the shooter can do it because he has to do everything right every single time to make that happen.
Now, one of the things that I think, because we started all of these online series, so this shooting, the online shooting school, the online reloading class, the online rifle building classes, they started four years ago.
And when we started this more than four years ago, there wasn't really the opportunity to fine tune the pages.
I mean, we had to get all of these systems working together with, you know, both with Patreon and how we link it back to our page, how people can find the different pages.
um the different titles how they can watch them in order so it was really difficult to try to get something that would work back and forth from our website uh to patreon to sort of make sense and have people follow it in chronographical order uh that way they were actually watching you know lesson one lesson two lesson three because of course patreon posts in the main page everything the latest will be first and so they did a really great job of number one they created a sub menu, which they call collections and what you can go on and you can click on, you know, because you ask, you can click on the online long range shooting school.
