### **Podcast Description** In this episode of the Wolf Precision Podcast, Jamie Dodson covers one of Wolf Precision's most popular options—the Level 2 Assembled Build Kit—and explains how customers…
So in our efforts to try to save the customers some money and really try to give them the best quality rifle that they can get and not have to do a lot of the work themselves is what we call our level two build kit.
In most cases, it's the trigger, and this allows us to build the rifle on their behalf, and they'll install their trigger and do the final assembly to complete it into a working rifle.
What that does is it saves us from having to add the excise tax on our end when we install the trigger.
It, and it takes it from a completed rifle to rifle components that the customer can complete, and that actually saves them a fair amount of money.
The other reason why the level two build kit is so popular is the fact that it is fully assembled, and so the stock is fitted.
Everything's really put together as a turnkey rifle with the exception of the customer has to remove the two trigger pins and install the trigger.
There's, there's only one screw to adjust a pull weight on a single stage trigger.
So when customers really wanna get into a custom rifle, one of the ways that they can do it is just be part of the build and let us do the heavy lifting of it and just install the trigger.
This allows you to get a really great world-class rifle with very simple things to do when you get it, and you've got the best that we can offer.
Now, the level three is a completed custom rifle, and we do have lots of customers that really have no interest in doing any work to it at all, and we actually build a fair amount of full custom rifles.
These are turnkey, ready to, uh, go out to the range and shoot and just enjoy the rifle.
We do that, and that is considered a level three rifle, and of course, it is a complete custom rifle, and we've always offered those over the last 20 years.
But the level one and level two kits are really designed to help the customers be part of it, really learn some new skills if that's what their cup of tea is, and they like to do this type of stuff.
For example, the level one kit, you have to take our online class or in-person class or come in for our build assist, uh, so we can go over all the parts and pieces and sort of train you on how to do it properly and safely, so you can repeat it when you get it back home.
And then what's nice is you can actually learn to change parts and pieces and calibers and all the cool things that you can do with modern, really high quality custom rifles today.
