In this episode, Jamie Dodson announces the launch of Wolf Precision's new Custom Rifle Build Kits and explains why they may be the future of the custom rifle industry. Learn how our Level 1 Build…
We've been working on this on behind the scenes and trying to really make sense of our approach to custom rifles going into the next 10 or 20 years and where we think it's going and why.
One of the big issues with customers buying a lot of their own components and just doing assembly, and making it really hard to do, was you still had to buy a barrel blank and send it off to somebody and hope that they did a good job in, in chambering the barrel, which, you know, in our opinion, chambering the barrel is 100-year-old technology.
There are many reasons for it, but there is no consistency, and there's no way to actually produce it.
And you know, the side note to it is once that barrel was shot out, you threw your hard-earned money in the trash with that barrel.
Now, if you fast-forward into where we're at now, is we can actually manufacture the perfect rifle chamber, and we can do it over and over again, and we can manufacture the rifle barrel and have it set up to accept any of the chambers over and over again.
It's a perfect recipe for making the same accurate rifle over and over and over again.
It's does not depend on manual labor or tribal knowledge or which crew member or which team member is actually chambering barrels that day.
Now, where we think the industry is going and why this is such an exciting day for us is when we start talking about the level of components that we have out there and just the quality.
