All right, some good news.

So a retired couple from Oregon got a surprise when their broken HVAC system was replaced completely free of charge.

And it was worth over $16,000.

Their names are Diane and Brian Johnson, and they had been struggling with their finances.

Diane was having to work three jobs to help cover their mortgage, and they didn't know how they were going to fix their HVAC.

So they applied to a program called Lennox's Feel the Love, and a local contractor donated a brand new heating and cooling system and thermostat.

Sweet.

Also, in British Columbia, a book was finally returned 43 years late.

It was a copy of Herman Walk's War and Remembrance.

It was dusty and had a cracked spine, but it still had its old paper checkout card with a due date of September 1st, 1983.

The librarians estimated it would have racked up about $3,100 in late fees, but nobody's getting the bill.

And believe it or not, it's not even the library's record holder for lateness.

Another book checked out in 1916 was returned 82 years later.

And finally, in Georgia, a woman named Amber Davis got to know a cashier, Caitlin Sparks, during her regular stops at a gas station.

So when Amber found out Caitlin was pregnant and unable to raise her baby, Amber offered to adopt him.

And she helped Caitlin get prenatal care as well.

Baby Nolan arrived healthy at seven pounds, eight ounces, and Amber welcomed him into her family.

And Caitlyn still remains a huge part of Nolan's life.

The two women have gotten so close that Caitlyn now calls D'Amber her big sister.

Very sweet.
