The Ghoulees in the Coulees is a spooky location for kids, families and adults to celebrate Halloween. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Lori is on the line from the Norsega-Dalen Nature Center out in Coon Valley and she's got a spooktacular event to talk about that is, uh, taking place in, in October.
Oh my goodness, yes.
It's our Ghoulies in the Coolies extravaganza.
Three days of just wonderful events for all age groups and, and, uh, fun for everyone.
Uh, the first of the three days is, uh, the 22nd of October.
It's our family friendly trick or treat.
This is the day that, uh, the littlest of the little can come out and trick or treat safely.
We get all kinds of volunteers from the surrounding business organizations, civic organizations.
They come out and they create a trick or treat spot for you.
So again, you can be out here in, in just the coolness of the homestead at a holiday time, and then safely trick or treat, uh, with organizations that you trust.
A year ago, we added the Teal Pumpkin Project to the family friendly night, and that is specifically for our friends that have some food allergies, food sensitivities.
So we will have separate containers containing non-food items, and all you need to do for that is just say, "I need the teal pumpkin," and you will be handed this delightful basket to choose from.
So truly a wonderful place for the youngest of the youngest.
Come in costumes, um, come, come to see your grandchildren.
It's a wonderful, wonderful evening.
That's Thursday the 22nd.
