Essentially, to tell you a little bit about what Krushree is, we make freeze-dried fruit and vegetable powders that turn into a smoothie in 30 seconds.

And right now I do handle everything myself with a little bit help from friends and family.

That includes production, packaging, regulatory compliances, our Shopify website, for example.

I'm here today to talk about what it really takes to build D2C in an Indian space and in the food space.

The first one is there are two kinds of founders from what I've understood so far.

The first is the kind of people that are head set from day one that they want to be a founder and then they go out and find ideas and then yeah
or no I mean it usually takes some time to get uploaded that's fine you can continue

I think I fall in the second category, which is didn't plan on being a founder, didn't plan on building something of my own, but found an idea that resonated with me so much and sort of stuck to what I'm passionate about.

And uh specifically why crushery i think smoothie is a category uh right now in india it's full of great products but they all do assume that you have time and you have equipment um the importance of fruits and vegetables i think that's something people understand unlike protein it's something that has been part of our everyday diets for a really long time but just not as much as it should be so given the uh fast-paced lives that we live today i want to create something that helps people consume the actual amount that you need in a day for it to optimize health for it to give you the benefits that you need rather than just eating it mindlessly
