Truthfully, I did not fully understand what this podcast would become when I started it.
Of course, I had ideas, right? I had passion for it, been talking about it for quite some time.
I had things I wanted to say, stories I wanted to tell, spiritual conversations I wished more people were having openly without fear or gatekeeping.
But I truly don't think I realized how alive this space would become.
I didn't realize how many of you would show up again and again, week after week, bringing your energy into this little world that we have somehow created together.
Because that's a thing that people I don't think understand about podcasts, especially spiritual podcasts.
They're not one-sided.
Even though I'm the one who's speaking, this space is built collectively.
I feel your presence in it constantly.
I feel your messages, your thoughts, your questions, your grief, your curiosity.
This podcast has never just been me talking into a microphone.
It's always felt like sitting in a giant coven circle together.
And looking back on the last 99 episodes, I...
It makes me emotional, like in, in the best of ways.
We have explored astrology, and spirit communication, and candle magic.
We've talked about deities, and shadow work, and protection, and cleansing, and all of the things, all these beautiful, strange little corners of the spiritual world that help us to understand ourselves better.
We've talked about things that are ancient and sacred, but we've also talked a lot about modern spirituality, hence the name of this podcast, what it actually looks like when you're trying to live magically while still answering emails, and paying bills, and dealing with real life.
And I think the balance of that is part of what has made this space feel so genuine.
Spirituality is not meant to remove us from being and feeling human, right? If anything, it's, it's meant to bring us deeper into our humanity with more presence, and awareness, and intention, more connection to the world around us.
