Rebecca BeattieGuestRegan ShantyHostI wanted to talk a little bit more about September in general before we start, and also my personal witchings around.
So whilst I wasn't actually recording an episode, I was doing witchy things, which includes my very first Mercian gathering.
It's either been clashing with another event or I've had to work, but the stars aligned this year, so I grabbed a ticket and off I went.
And due to the consecutive heat waves this summer and the huge amount of fire hazards that were happening, the droughts, the organisers decided to switch to honouring water this year instead of fire.
So I'm not going to go into full details because I feel like that's not really my stuff to share.
And I also ended up buying a book which unlocked another hyperfocus for me, which I will circle back to in a minute.
And one of the workshops I attended was a discussion about what that meant to us.
So when we say, as above, so below, we are stating our intention to honour all of our world and maintain the balance between them.
And I also believe it's reminding us that we don't just look in one direction for the divine.
We don't look primarily at the sky like some paths do, but we also don't look completely towards the ground.
So do leave a comment on Spotify or on our socials with your interpretations, or you can even drop me an email at the, you know, all the usual places.
